play both sides as beginner....than you learn how this game works never ever glue only to one side, its really important to know the equipment of your enemy when you want to subscribe to ww2online, test every side for at least 3-4 weeks
I play whatever side I feel for at the moment really.
In the same manner I jump into a plane once in a while to get a change. I enjoy flying, but I'm not much of an air to air fighter, so I'm easy prey for most opponents.
Neither side is easier in all respects. There are pluses and minuses to playing either side. For example in the initial airplane set the allied fighters are generally agreed to be easier to fly but the German Stuka is the easiest tactical bomber to fly. Try both sides equipment and choose the one that fits your playing style or should you find a good group of guys on one side then stick with them. In the long run it will be playing with a great group of friends that maximizes enjoyment.
Axis all the way. I do at times jump to the allied side when the axis are kicking the living arse out of the allies. Just to check out the equipment and get a better fill how to kill them easier.
