Haemonculus or No Deal

Yeah basically I refuse to even try this game if Haemonculus aren't included as a playable class.

Give them a pet Grotesque, DOTs and debuffs, wala instant warlock/necro type class. Plus they look like cenobites from Hellraiser and I never played my Dark Eldar without them (once took out another unit of 13th Legion Space Wolves with a single flametemplate attack, armor/toughness saving throws can kiss Haemonculus ass!)

Back when I played tabletop 40k, only little kids played space marines. I guess they appeal to a younger audience, and since they have such high armor and toughness anyone with half a brain can use them effectively. You don't even need to use tactics, just walk them towards to closest enemy and shoot. Unless they roll a lot of 5-6s your precious space marines tend to prevail.

No no you got it all wrong, i am sadly not a kid anymore. got into 40k back in the early 90is and i know what you are aiming at!

My best advise on this game is to just forget that tabletops even exist because this will be a classic MMO as we all know it. My head is filled with years of rich 40k lore and i already started to imagine an outstanding game with incredible depth but decided to stay realistic. I really doubt they will make such specialized "characters" like Haemonculi playable. It is kinda sad i certainly would love to see those and a shitload of others!

But i have to admit i am a space marines nerd...grey knights all the way baby!

I agree.  but,  I don't believe this game is going to do the ip justice.  Sorry for being a pessimist but 40k is an rts and a table top not an mmo.

this post couldnt be more wrong, or did you not realise that 40k pretty much started as a tabletop rpg game?

And that it has a tabletop rpg game out right now?

Anytone who thinks that 40k is only a tabletop game and an RTS has no clue what 40k is, and should stop talking about it.

I would love to watch you fall flat on your face and fail trying that in 40k, it would be hilarious watching those marines get gunned down.

Apparently stating the truth in my sig is "trolling"
Sig typo fixed thanks to an observant stragen001.
