how do you get the beta out of windowed mode

in Final Fantasy XIV

I just got into beta and the game plays in window mode on a small screen. how do i enlarge the screen. there doesn;t seem to be any graphics options or anything. so let me know if you can

    Go to the configuation.

    Under program files go to FF14 Config. That's where you set most of the graphics settings too.

     

    Edit: don't worry, you aren't the only one surprised to find most of the settings OUTSIDE of the game.

    thx for the responses but when i click on FF14 config a box pops up and it is in japanese and there is nothing to click.

    I'm pretty sure that japanese is telling you that you need to close the client completely first.  Get out of FFXIV completely and then try.  Though tbh I don't think it would let me switch from windowed for whatever reason last I checked.

    FFXIV only works in windowed mode for me. When I change the config to fullscreen I get DirectX errors. I don't mind though I always played XI in windowed mode. Although with the high graphics in this game it does cause for a bit of lag.

    Do you have dual monitors? FFXIV doesn't support it yet. :P
