-open I repeat OPEN PvP!!!!!!! -no levels.... skill based! - skill based also means no restrictive classes......wich is very good -there are many more but I will be typing for a very long time if i list then all
I am not really holding my breath i am also checking out other games and such , but when this is released it will dominate all other mmorpg"s on the market. That is when it comes to the gameplay. It might not be the best seller but that is because full PvP is not for everyone. It is for me tho so I dont have to hold my breath because I dont have a doubt in the devs.

Darkfall never seemed to be popular in my opinion but it looks realy fun. It has been in the making for quite some time now. I was looking at some of the screen shots and the one with the dwarfs...well the graphics just look a little outdated.

Not anymore im seeing tyons of games just like it now. But do i have faith? Hrmm...Yes but it is hanging on by a thread.
Nothing wrong with a game being in development for a long time, especially if the end product is a better game. But to have zero information on it in months...that is disturbing. At the very least a message from the Devs, a screen shot, anything.
Darkfall use to have fairly regular updates that let us know their progress..then they pretty much fell off the face of the earth. I think they are either complete vaporware at this point, or in really deep trouble. Otherwise I believe we would have heard more about it in the past few months.
there have been a couple of times were they didnt tell us anything for a while and then out of the blue they say "hey in another week or so expect the new site to be ready"so I will hold on to the faith for a while. I can see a faint light at the end of a really long tunnel!

i defenitly have faith. sure the game has been in development for a long time they do ONLY have a 20 man team pretty much. so im behind them all the way to the finish and the end product will blow everyone away and kick those people in the clankers that didn't have faith.
I support DF, and I want it to come out and be all that it as been promised to be, but I do not opperate on faith. That said, if you had faith in this game before August 31st, then you should still have faith in it.

It seems to me that interest in this game is at a record high, despite being in development for years if you look the post count on this forum, 65% of them are from this year alone. Thats twice as many as all the other years combined.
Apart from the occasional idiot most people wouldn't bother browsing the forum if they didn't think it was going to release.

Guess some people have a different interpretation of what OPEN Beta means. I would not call DF's Beta atm OPEN in the slightest... it is definitely very CLOSED!

The numbers are a mix of both those that are anticipating something they are greatly looking forward to and those that are anticipating a spectacular train wreck. Considering the furiosity of those holding opinions on both extremes, what releases will be considered both a great success and a spectacular train wreck regardless of the reality.
If Duke Nukem Forever suddenly was rumored to release in a few months there would be just as much interest...even if half of was as now just morbid curiosity.

After AoC I don't have faith in any MMO anymore... all of them are boring as shit and worthless, I just HOPE darkfall will release something fun and can put me back in the mood to play MMOs.

Games from small teams take a real logn tiem to develop but the DEVS are doing a godo job and i just wish you guys were a bit more patient about this.
The game will launch and it will have some aspects that we always wanted but never really got in the latest realeases.
So just stay tune and watch the darkfall site for updates
