played wow for 1 month and got to 57 before i got tired of it, still a good game but nothing new , seen all and have done all before.
and maple is the best free game i ever tried(tibia is good to if u get in to it)
Would have put up FFXI,Everquest 2 both are to realy good games would have been my 6 and 7 in the list , btw u cant say wow is the best game if u never tryed any other mmorpg , u allways like the first mmorpg the most becuse everything is so diffrent compare to what u have played before.
1. Everquest 2. Asheron's Call 3. Earth and Beyond (still mad that it was taken offline). 4. Anarchy Online 5. Final Fantasy XI
Currently kinda playing FFXI, kinda waiting for Guild Wars. I didn't have a chance to play the beta, but I have heard mostly positive things, hopefully it will make up for the garbage that has come out for the last two and a half years.
UO Pre UO:R - though was good even before p16, but then it was down from there. Pre UO:R was great, but it took team work to be succesfull instead camp the spot and earn yourself X gold per hour which it turned out after UO:R.
EVE - Still play it and its great game only if you manage to get into it (took me like 6 months to get into it). Very open and lot of player interraction be it trading, backstabbing, war, politics etc. Best player market I have seen to date.
SB - Had horrible launch, but get to my list just because it have so open pvp also.
I have played most other mmorpgs, but they havent been able to keep me intrested more than 3 months, so I wount list them.
1. Everquest. First MMORPG. May not be the best in every aspect, but it wasn't some easy pansy game. Throw in the relationships with the friends made and lost and I don't think any game will ever touch the overall EQ experience for me.
2. DAoC. Best system ever for combining PvE and PvP. One day someone will take the ideas DAoC brought and really run with them, but no one has done so yet. Back into the game for the third time and still having fun in RvR.
3. CoH. The game was just flat out fun. It just never completely caught me though. I think the lack of loot, and the lack of any friends playing it at the time kept me from playing it longer.
4. SWG. This one would have been in my bottom three if I had never tried it a second time. Has a really nice crafting system. They made lots of improvements and still are. I may give it another go after the combat revamp and see if they fixed the problem with players being tougher than just about anything else in the game and everyone being content to solo.
5. Not really sure for number five. Probably Eve, but it wasn't really my style. I prefer restricted PvP and 3d characters. RoE was a lot more fun than I expected, but I didn't expect much. I never could get into SoR. Horizons sucked for me all the way through beta. EQ2 seems real fun, but I have only played the trial and I am not looking for a new game right now.
1) Everquest- even though its old now, it was my first and nothing can match the awe and wonder of the first one
2) DAoC- This game was 2nd, had awesome potential but was latter ruined by its makers mistakes
3) Anarchy Online- great game all around, if they revamped the graphics and upgraded a handfull of the gameplay aspects I would return in a heartbeat.
4)WoW- Fun gameplay, something different around every corner much like old EQ, awe inspiring scenery at times, biggest fualt IMO it is just to darn simple but I still play it
5) Earth & Beyond- I liked this MMoRPG, good graphics and fun, it just seemed to lack the edge to keep me from playing DAoC or AO at the time, to bad they gave up isntead of trying to find that edge.
