Looking for a game like DDO

in LFGame

currently im playing ddo

but i am trying to find a second mmorpg for play when i get bored from ddo

can u recommend me a game like ddo but open world?

- dark theme

- open world

- not childish

- f2p or item mall (but item mall mustnt affect the game's pvp balance)

- large community

    Lord of the rings online is what I'm waiting for to go f2p (next month)  which will be my next step from DDO.

     

    Not very 'dark' to begin with but it does get dark later on as you progress.

     

    It isnt as 'non-child-like' as DDO,  but isnt as cartoony and plastic like WoW.

     yeah i know that too and im gonna start on lotro but when is going to be f2p? i know its in beta now

    You can try Everquest 2 extended which released a couple of days ago.

    Similar model to DDO/LotrO but very different with restrictions.

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
