in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Video of myself traveling through Pankor Zhi, the Dark Elf capital city. I thought it was amazing and I had to get a video of it.

There was quite a bit more to show, but I had to keep the video under 10 minutes. That, and I got lost at the end, lol.



I actually haven't done a video for my game channel in a long time, so I thought it was about time.

    This game has always had beautiful world graphics; it is a shame that the toons are so badly made and animated ((imo)) it is what stopping me from plaything game.

    Couldn't agree more about the character models (plastic look) and terrible animation Sarge...  Although it's not what eventually stopped me from playing.  I'd give it another shot if SoE actually did something with this gameand or made it F2P.  But that appears highly unlikely.

     

    p.s.  Hey Beiber that music you selected for your youtube video was almost as bad as your own...  jk...

    on topic Vanguard always had  Beautiful settings landscapes and art. loved it for that and the weather as well.

    Nice vid. It was neat to see Pankor Zhi. That was one of the few places I never did explore even though I did have a DE character.

    I like most of the combat animations, sure walking/running are a bit off, but combat always looks good to me. I don't mind the models but I normally play Raki when possible so...

    On the topic of the video, beautiful area, but I hate that damn canyon. Always so hard to get in/out and even worse when I need to get across.

    The animations seem fine for me, at least for the melee classes. Like the Monk has some pretty awesome combat animations, and my Ranger has pretty good combat animation too. I've definitely seen a lot worse. Though, swimming animation seems kind of weird, but improved since release.

     

    Yeah the canyon was a bit hard to pass...I did end up getting out of the city, but ended up hundreds of feet from where I wanted to be. Only way to get out was to go all the way around, back through the temple...or jump to my death, lol.

    Great video. I see these and I'm so tempted to re-sub and get back into my Psi and Bard. A lot of fun.

    Contrary to all those posts I haven't seen anything special in this video. Nothing at all. Maybe for the year Vanguard was released it was something, but nowadays... it just looks outdated.

    The graphics are really nice to me, though character models on some of the races could use a bit more work. I do like the Dark Elf and Wood Elf models a lot, though.

    wow, that is an amazing screenshot. Does a lot of the game look that good?

    Look at the video and that will be a good benchmark.

    some of the world is amazing and some just so so.

    Still one of the best game worlds that I know.
