Which NA server has the LOWEST population?

I solo mostly, so I prefer performance over population.

Brandywine ( the server I'm currently on ) is choking as it is from all the people. Getting rubberband spikes in primetime gets old real quick.

And when F2P hits, I expect it will be the first to get hit with que's.

So which NA server has the least amount of people?

I figure between all the brand new servers being launched with F2P, plus the majority of people always wanting to be on the largest pop server, the lowest existing server now now will still be nice and quiet after F2P hits.

Windfola, Vilya and Firefoot. Plus you know they are creating new servers for the F2P launch?  No official word yet but the top 3 votes were Riddermark, Crickhollow, and Imladris

Any server I'm not on. >:)

They've been advertising for new players to go to Gladden lately too.

Yeah, I mentioned the new servers in the OP. But between all the F2P people plus longtime subs trying for a "fresh start" on a new server with the headstart, those "new" servers will be packed in no time. I'll check those servers you mention. Thanks.

Heheh, I'll give Gladden a look, too. Thanks.

I'm also really worried about this when LotRO f2p goes live.  As a former subscriber, I have a character on Brandywine.  This obviously puts me behind VIP's in the login queue.

Would it be worthwhile as a f2p player to actually transfer servers; and if so, how much would that cost?

As a former subscriber you will be given Premium status, not F2P status. So you will move up the login queue.  I wouldn't worry about Brandywine being overrun by new subs just yet. I thought I read something about them locking down the high pop servers when this goes live. Can't recall when and where though. I'll post if I can find it.

Transfers are $25, and if you have a high level character (imo 40+) you might want to consider that (see: http://www.lotro.com/component/content/article/378-world-character-transfer-faq ).  The high pop servers won't be locked out when f2p launches, they're just locked from transfers (and have been for a while now).
