Takes a real "pro player" to insult a game aimed at young children. Or did you guys, by any chance, misunderstand and think "Helly Kitty Online" was going to be heavily marketed to a traditional demographic.
But then, I suppose your 4, 5 and 6 year olds are all going to be playing games like Mortal Online, aren't they?

Blizzard should look into this.

Honestly I think they are just being humorously sarcastic for the hell of it.
However, in their defence, you do realize that Hello Kitty has been around since the late 1970s and that the first video game based on the Hello Kitty franchise came out for the NES in 1992?
Many of the children that Hello Kitty has entertained are now adults with children of their own. It has been become deeply ingrained in popular culture, both EAst and West, and has been referenced in shows such as South Park and the Simpsons. And it is as big, if not bigger, a cultural phenominon as the afrementioned cartoon series, with many an adult following.

I think most kids played Mario on the NES. Don't think it was popular enough that many remember it. My kids had anything that was in the slightest bit popular and never heard of this game.
Personally anyone that lets a pre teen play a online game on the internet needs to have social services come calling and check their parenting abilities. For anyone trying to defend this game, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Have you ever played Wizard101? If you set the game up correctly (which isn't difficult), it's very safe for all ages.
I tried one the betas at like the start of the year I think....was kind of fun change of pace from the other mmos then got to quests asking for triple and quadruple digits worth of multiple times to finish it and ran far away. Wonder if they still have those quests....collecting 502 flowers, 238 frog slime, 1200 stones, and 635 whistles wasn't much fun.
Someone just put me out of my misery already. What's next, The Hello Kitty PS3? Hello Kitty Nuclear missile? Hello Kitty Flamethrower?...
Seriously though, if this game manages to stay in the black as far as finances go, expect games such as "Ren and Stimpy Online", "World of South Park", and maybe even "Age of Birdman."

To those who think they are funny by bashing the game: It kinda comes off as ignorant
I played this with my fiancee during beta. I'm not insecure about myself...and I'll admit I really liked it! It's actually more of a sandbox than most games. The age group that I saw playing was actually older. I didn't see any kids online at all. Not the best game in the world or anything...but I thought it would be worth noting that it actually ain't bad!
Note: I actually played the game and listened to T.I.'s paper trail CD with explicit lyrics. That was always fun! haha...
P.S.. : Did they ever add combat sound? It was 100% mute when I played.
