Beginning in September, 9Dragons will be published by GamersFirst according to a press statement released by the gaming portal. Gamers currently playing 9Dragons under Acclaim's publication will continue their service uninterrupted when the game changes hands next month. 9Dragons is a martial arts MMO from Korean developer Indy21. To celebrate the new publisher, Indy21 has released a new and impressive trailer.

In addition to the solid foundation of existing PvE and PvP gameplay, the changing of hands will also include several new key features over the next quarter, including:
Dedicated tutorial map for easing new players into the 9Dragons experience
New high level dungeon encounter “Vault of the Ice Dragon”
Updated “Tibet” map
Brand new Kung Fu patterns to master
‘Most Wanted’ list – useful in avoiding—or becoming—one of the most dangerous and skilled players in PvP

When I think of grindfest...I think of this game.
Hopefully GamerFirst can get Indy21 to finally add WASD movement controls to the game. Then and only then would I play this game. I can't stand click to move.
When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there!
Acclaim has lost almost all of their MMORPGS now.
Lets hope they get rid of GameGuard, and I may get back into this game.
They may change gameguard for X-Trap (their Sword 2 security) but I doubt it.
Finally !!! We waited for that for 2 years. Let's hope Gamefirst will do a better job than Acclaim.
P.S.: The trailer is a really old one. They released it around December 07 - January 08.

Acclaim must really be having a going out of business sale
I challenged my reflection to a staring contest....4 days later i won
After Playdom bought out Acclaim, it seems that they are scrapping everything in favor of their social games.

Games Tried: TCOS, 12sky, 12Sky2, Rappelz, LoA, GO, HO, GMU, Warrock, TR, PWI, SotNW:GE, PotC, EVE, MxO, PotBS, KO, HO, 9Dragons, LotRO, DDO, L2, Maplestory, Second Life, CoX, GW, EQ2, Ryzom, WoW, Planetside, SWG, FE, Aion, Allods, CO, etc
Also seems like the developer believed Acclaim didn't know what it was doing. To quote a part of the PR Release:
“We chose GamersFirst, because it is a company that understands the Free2Play market and communicates with its gamer community,” said Yong-Nam Jin, CFO at Indy 21. “We have seen GamersFirst build Free2Play MMO’s with the same type of strong community presence that exists within 9Dragons and are looking forward to continuing the success of the game.”

Disney and Google probably have probably asked Acclaim to say good bye to the old hack and slash style MMO grind fest and hello to MickeyVille and PenguinsVille
