AoC siege PvP is not large scale. If that's not an issue then the next step would be to find an active guild that actually engage in this type of stuff. Last time I played most players were just racing to cap for the raids. Siege PvP was a rare thing. You may want to try first a PVP server of course.
The general consensus seems to be that AoC mainly caters for the PvE-crowd.
I don't deny that the PvP-crowd is in need for some love, but still, AoC has given me some of my best PvP-moments in my MMO history.
If you get going on a PvP-server and find a good/active/large guild, you should get some nice siege-action.
By siege action you mean lag and crashes in 2 hours? :P
We have had several that have ran all the way recently. Mostly of these sieges occurred because of the bad blood caused by the breakup of the Bori farming coalition on Wiccana.

AoC PvP used to be large scale. When they had a decent subscription base and sieges didn't crash. But that was almost 2 years ago now. Siege mechanics are about as contemporary as the UI and the chat interface. Which incidentally both look as if they had been coded by one of the two monkeys Noah dragged onto the ark with him.

Lol. I disagree with the UI being worthless but that's one funny comment

Yep till medio next year...
Then Guildwars 2 will raise the PvP bar... having both competitive PvP and an improved version of DAoC's RvR. (and best PvE on top of that)
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

Siege? what siege>? I finally got to 80 and all everyone does is run the same PvE raids over and over again... why did I bother....
