I'm curious as to how many of us are casual or diehard players that will be playing this game. Heres the poll:

I'll probably be somewhere in the middle. I intend to play on a daily basis (time permitting, of course) but I don't plan to live on the computer. 4-8 hours seems reasonable on average, though on weekends that time may go up, depending on what other things I have to do.
2 hours a day during weekdays and 5 to 6 hrs on sundays. Saturday is night out after hard week of work.

Probably 20-30 hours a week. I have been playing that in beta and the game is perfect for that amount of time. No notice of fatigue/surplus, and plenty of content for that time frame.
Same here. There are a lot of us "gamers" hitting our 30's, which means less time playing more time working.
As much as college lets me.. Hopefully I can continually play 3-4 hours a day, but I gotta get in some SC2 time as well.
Well since i have a job, i play 4, 6 hours a day, i do not consider that to be casual though, you can get a lot done in that time frame.

I've got a day job like most other people but I think I'll probably be close to the 8 hour mark (when you average all 7 days together) for the first month or so. But definitely will fall back down closer to 4 hours as time goes on.
well no one should do any one thing more then 8 hours a day, think about it, if youre healthy you sleep 8 hours, if youre employed you work 8 hours, that leaves 8 hours, you lose some to driving to and from work unless you live at the office, you also need to run your errands and shop for food and cook it unless you have live in slaves or you still live with mom heh. i might be able to swing 8 hours of play but thats only because i have my laptop at work and lots of free time while on call.
I will probably average just above 4 hours, I always leave my game running (my exp never went down for leaving it up, I'm pretty sure the fatigue system isn't reliant on time but more on experience gained....) So my game was on for around 8 hours, but really I only played about 4 of those 8 hours, cause I do a lot of things during my day and sporadically return to my game for about 45 minute spurts, although if I am in a group I will play for much longer.
With full time work, wife, kids and friends 4 hours a day is max for me. More likely 10-15 hours a week on average with a few more here and there as time permits.
4 hours or less most days (unfortunately have to have a job to pay for this (as well as actualy living et al)), on weekends I may be able to put in a few 10-16 hr marathons like the good ol days though, just depends on what's going on (i.e. if opportunity to do something better with my time presents itself).

I would agree with most comments that was replied to this thread. I would play approx. 3-4 hours a day. As a college student and a part time employee... that leaves me with a limited amount of time to play. Assuming that most players also have lives, it make sense that the faitgue/surplus experience shouldn't be a problem (unless you are on vacation and/or have a lot of time on your hand... then that would suck but for the most part, not so bad).

I said 4 hours or less a day (if I get the game, still unsure) but there will be times went I might play all day on my day off . I have been known to do that, if I am having fun.
8 hours a day? My goodness, I understand getting your money's worth, but these people are going to finish the entire main quest of the game in 2 months.

Wheather your diehard or casual, keep the poll in mind and remember, die hards are the minority here, but they do offer alot to game communities such as high level crafting to offer cheap prices and other things that no one else would bother to do because of the amount of time it takes to offer it. I'm right in between die-hard and average. Average for 4 days a week, die-hard for 3. So I went Average.

After being in the beta A lot and I really mean a lot of yall are gonna be very disappointed with this game. Great eye candy though

Voted 4-8 because it is what common sense says to me, but I will be nearer to 8 than to 4. No wife, no children, I can be in a better situation than more of voters here. My job has crazy shift turns but it let me a lot of free time though sometimes the free-time is at 4am, that is when you NA players will be around, so see you there!

Just depents on te day, I used to be a hardcore player.
But latly I have more importand things in live than playing games all day.
So probaly I end up playing 4-8 hours a day and when I have nothing to on somedays it will probaly 8+
Probably less than 4 hours per day. But if the game really suits me and gets me hooked I'll probably end up doing a lot more. Will see.
