World of Warcraft: Test Servers Open to Public

The World of Warcraft recently opened their test servers to the public, and all characters are now able to copy their current characters to that server to test out the new features such as the new Honor System!


The World of Warcraft public test realms are now live. These test realms allow us to test new content and features before they are patched to the public realms. They also allow players to get a sneak peek at the content going into the game next patch! One of the features in this patch is the highly anticipated Honor System. The test realms are open to anyone who has a valid World of Warcraft account, so if you want to be one of the first players to try out the Honor System, click here to copy one of your characters over to the test realm.

Keep in mind remember that experience earned, items obtained, or any changes to your test character will in no way affect your original character on our retail realms, as your test realm character is just a copy of the original. Also, the experience, items, and gold your character gains on the test realm will not be transferred to your character on the retail realms. We appreciate your participation in these tests, as they enable us to deliver higher quality content patches.

    this server is only for US, no Euro

    I was thinking the same thing. My fear though is that only players that pay the monthly fee get to play like it is with the rest.

    Thats right! Now you can test the game your paying for!

    They make it sound like its a great honour to test the new features of the game when all it really is, is free testing for them.

    I was a lil running over it was open to "Public" That would meen ppl that dun have game could like download a Client like for Beta's :/

    Hey guys, just to clear something up again, in the article it clearly states that it is open to anyone who has a vaild WoW account US. Thanks, sorry for any confusion this might have caused.
