Fatigue, Simplicity

in a recent thread about the fatigue system , i made a post that was basicly a simple answer to how the system actually works. here's that post

Play Class A until Class A begins to gain surplus points. at that point, stop; switch your class.

Play Class B until Class B begins to gain surplus points. at that point, stop; switch your class to class A.

If Class A is not gaining surplus , switch to Class C , and play Class C until Class C begins to gain surplus. stop again and switch back to Class A.

By then , Class A should not be gaining surplus. i would think that after playing class B until you reach surplus level , Class A should be fine and able to play at 100% again.

you also need to know that this is not based on time spent on Class A/B/C. it based on a limit , that when reached , shifts you into a state where you begin to loose your ability to gain 100% of your experience points. if you continue to play in this state , you'll hit another "wall" , and your 100% is reduced even further, this continues until it reaches 0%. the 8 hour and 7 hour notes you see are guesstimates to how long they think it'll take an average person to reach the first limit, and then how long it would take for you to reach 0%.

its really quite simple ladies and gentlemen. for me , i'll be starting off with Thaumaturge. when i start to gain surplus , i'll switch to Conjurer. when Conjurer starts getting surplus , i'll switch back to Thaumaturge, and hopefully , i'll be back to 100% and will be able to grind normally. you just need to swap back and forth to rid yourself of the surplus points. adding in a third class, Botanist for me as well as Weaver , you will most definitely NOT have surplus on either Thaumaturge or Conjurer and you can level them fine.

Yes , it's that simple and easy to understand. we wont know for sure how many skill points you'll need to get in other classes before your main class looses its surplus , until we can test it in OB. i'm very excited for OB!

After reading this it doesnt sound so bad does it now :D

    Much better explaination.

I have mixed feelings about it. I think if they can balance it right, it might be good for the game. The entire game takes some getting used to for people familiar with other MMOs, so this is just one more element that requires adjustment to the way people play.

Again, there is no need for multiple threads on the same topic. Please refer to the designated thread for Surplus Experience/Fatigue. Locked.
