Honestly, looks like a ripoff of CoH with worse graphics and characters everyone recognizes. What does this game have going for it other than Superman, Batman, etc.?
What does this have going for it? I take it you have done little to no reading about the game. Do some research. DCUO has very cool features.
I got to play this at SOE Fan Faire. Its different from other MMO as it uses fight game mechanics. You earn combo moves through your experiances as you progress. This is like 'Street Fighter' and other arcade type fight games. This is how it makes it addaptable to PS3 while still functional for PC. There is no crafting or other non-combat features of note. This is were I was kinda let down as there is no function to allow you to progress a detective skill or scientific discovery. That aside, I will beta and try this game. It was fun for the brief play I had.
if you like action game this is the game for you...but no crafting? are you sure?
We wait for them to release a lot of info about the game like power, char creation, etc...maybe crafting will be there when the game is ready..

Umm the game releases in november if they haven't said anything about crafting by now than i'm pretty sure it won't be in. Only 2 months till release.
What's it have going for it? Try destructible *OPEN WORLD* environments and actual PVP.
CoX lacks any PvP in it whatsoever except the occassional base camping zone PvP that is incredibly stupid and boring.
CoX devs did too little too late for PvP in the game and still have not bad an acceptable scenario, minigame, battleground, etc. QUEUE system.
Even champions online has that....
DCUO PvP is going to be incredible.

Next time you blast soemthing, have the grace to know what you're talking about. CoX has entire zones devoted to open PvP, guild vs. guild battle, and an arena system with over a half dozen (not sure, been over a year since I played) modes of combat, and, yes, a queuing system, ladder system, etc. There's a lot to see in CoX, maybe you somehow missed all that.
I love the colours. Am really looking forward to this game. I loved CoX and I am sure I will adore this game.I love playing these types of super hero and villain games.

$OE don't make any great games anymore.
Yeah it sucks SOE is making it but I wont pass simply because of that. I definitely won't pay any $50 box price. I will probably wait until a free trial comes out to test it out. Until then I will enjoy CoX Going Rogue.
