They said that there would be a profession that is good at using natural weapons right? Dougal can seem 2 do that...He might be that rogue profession so the rogue profession (new word for the Assassin slash something else) Might be that Resourcefull profession. Assassin can't be based on it's weapon since..Warrior and Rangers can dual wield now...SO it can be based on Enviro weps and a bit of stealth.
I'm anti assassins and their gameplay mechanics. So I started this thread to see if people thought they would be ingame.
I get this retort...
"The assassin is on the ground crouching on the left side of the ele opposite of the ranger. It's pretty clear from the daggers in its hands."
The fellow said, CLEARLY, as if I didn't squint my eyes hard enough to discern the shadowy figure. When he was proven wrong, I thought it'd be nice to state how monsterously wrong he was, and how foolish of him it was to post with such conviction when all he was doing was preaching nonsense.
Then you arrived, RBC, to save the day and attempt to deface my rational. But let me assure you, it's there, it's rational and it makes sense.
I did not misquote the guy AT ALL. I said, "The character right next to the ranger crouching on the left is a what you say? You blathering fool. You don't even know what you're preaching."
And if you read with some comprehension, you'd realize that I wasn't using the word "right" as in the direction but more so to mean, that character RIGHT there. Not that character to the right. So the one right next to the ranger (meaning close in proximity) on the left...would still be the necro.
It's 100% clear which character was being spoken about. And there were not bad directions given. When we look at the picture the necro is on the LEFT. Incase you've forgotten which hand your left hand is...hold up each hand and try to form an "L" with your index finger and thumb. The one that you can legibly read is your left hand.
I think we are long past this debate, so I'm not going to discuss the details with you any further. The bottom line is I called you out for personally insulting the guy. Then I said if you don't like being called out, its not my problem. Whether or not the guy had a good argument or not makes no difference. Whether or not you can show how ridiculous his logic was in a detailed post is not the point. I was essentially defending his right to speculate without being insulted. And its obvious that you are determined to conveniently skirt around the fact that you insulted him, so there's no point in continuing this.
Either way, can we move on now?

This is old argument...and still you are wrong.
The poster used the Ele as the starting point, then said "on the left side of the ele".
Therefore, whether you know which of your hand is your left or right, it's irrelevant, because the starting point IS NOT based on YOUR left side, rather based on the left side of the Ele, which IS NOT the Necro.
If you don't know which side is the Ele's left side. Have someone stand infront of you, FACING YOU, like the Ele, then point to their left side.
It shouldn't be rocket science.
Nevertheless, GW2 is awsome and the Assassin is hiding int he shadow...and I'll bet the last profession that will be revealed.

"left of the ele" and "opposite of the ranger" is the one conflicting instruction I'm pointing out that is a bad information.

Nevertheless Assassins in GW2 will end this silly discussions.
