Should I worry about my account security since after getting it back from being stolen?

I'm worried about my account now, it was already hacked and I just managed to get it back but sadly couldn't get everything back so I'm playing now to build up my gold again.

 

I notice I'm now getting the Core Hound Puppy pet which means the hacker has a Authenticator and now I'm getting myself one, should I worry about it all happen again or is my account now "safe"?

    How did it get hacked? Did you believe a fake email or have spyware on your PC or go onto a fake double website and try to login?

    They can't get your password from nowhere, so you had to have done something. Now you're more aware, just don't be stupid enough to do the above and check your PC for spyware and that. Malwarebytes is my fave program for this.

    In the sense that you need to be more careful about what you're doing online, yes. It's a good possibility something you did made your account vulnerable. I would think back to any emails you opened, gold sellers you talked to, etc. and just be more careful regardless of having the authenticator now. You still want to make sure you're protecting your privacy for people trying to steal more then your game account. You might not need to worry about the game account with the authenticator, but that is up to some debate according to some people. Better safe then sorry, so just read up on protecting your privacy online so you'll be doing everything you can to stop it from happening again.

    I'm not sure how it happened, it must have been by fake emails I think, I can't remember, I'll be more careful now. =)

    if you have an iphone or any type of smartphone you can download the battle.net authenticator for free, at least it was free for my iphone. if not i believe blizzard sells an authenticator for like $7, its really worth it. my account got hacked as well and it was recently, but the thing is i quit WoW 2yrs ago and when i came back like 2 weeks ago i could not log on at all due to someone putting an authenticator on my account. called blizzard, they asked me my secret questions, answered it and they reset everything for me. upon that, i changed all my login name and passwords and emails and got authenticator....hope this helps for any future attempted hacks.
