My guildwars names..

If you ad GW2 to your orriginal guildwars account you probably can take some names with you.

What guildwars names will you take with you from guildwars to guildwars 2 ?

 

I know i have claimed these names in GW :  (can't remeber last names)

- Bachus

- Sjengkhan

- Scarkhan

 

Next to that i hope to claim the following Names too :

 

-Adoremiamore (My Warhammer Shaman)

-Sancta (My WoW priest and bold negroide)

-Skolle (My DAoC bonedancer and soothsayer)

-Marius (My EQ enchanter)

-Doremias (My bardclassname played in many games)

 

I am both an Altoholic and a namin fetishist, i even quit max level character because i didn't like their name after all.

 

 

So what names will you claim from your orriginal guildwars account?

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

     I don't know how it's going to work, I know that your characters accomplishments from GW1 are supposed to carry over in a hall of monuments, whether that makes those same character names unusable for new characters, I don't know.

    I like your name Scarkhan, it seems like a good Charr name for GW2

    Not probably, they said you would have them just for you...except someone takes it before you manage to add it to the account, i guess.

    Why are you telling us this ? Is there really a point in handing out your names to other people?... it's like you want them to be stolen... not that they mean anything to others... besides the fun of stealing them.

    PS:  Not wanting to flame or anything like that.. just pointing out why  showing off the names might not be such a good idea....

    <smiles> why would i want to hide my gaming history, maybe someone recognises me by one of my characters which would be kind of fun, do you think i'd sleep one less day if one of these names would be taken?  Fact is that you can take the names of your GW chars with you to the new game.  

    So who else plans on taking his names with him?

    I like to use the same names in MMOs I play so I keep them a closely guarded secret.   I made the mistake of using one of them in the Aion betas and lo and behold some guy I grouped up with in beta stole the name and reserved it in retail. Then by chance we happened to get on the same server  and then wanted to join my guild. (he stole the variant I use of my mains name which would have been really confusing to members). Go F yourself is basically what I told him.   So yeah I've already got all of my GW2 names picked out for all of my alts but no, you can't have them :P
