There's some speculation about this "open beta" that most think it is just going to be an "extended closed beta" and because S.E. not accepting more applys after aug 16th come to think that every account made after this date will not be or will have to apply again for open,... this is just speculation, I hope that everyone could join though.
o well, we know a game from SE like ff14 will come out ready to play, possibly laggy at launch but no huge problems will be around, they have a reputation of quality JRPG and thats what im sure we can expect, pre order ce play on the 22nd, otherwise see ya in game sep 30th!
have you never beta tested before? If selected they send you a download link for the beta client. Once you get your box and the game is live you install the new one. Hell some games even offer digital copies now, where you don't get a box at all. Same thing there.

Aw.. yeah I read from somewhere about that too.. But I'm trying my best to think positive!!! I guess we'll just have to wait til 31st to find out...

I don't understand how 're we supposed to play on Aug . 31 when the Box is gonna be send on 9/22 ...
