Gotta HP notebook i7 intel Q720 @ 1.60 GHz ,windows 7 64 bit ,8 GB ram,ATi 5650 1GB card .
after downloading and running the benchmark for FF14 i ended up with a score 1660 on 1200 / 720 low ,should i just wait till next year for PS3 or could i play this game on 1200 /720 on high setting ? i have played Aion ,AoC,Fallen Earth and EQ2 all on high setting with 30-60 FPS

your CPU is a bottle neck, generally those cpus can be OC;d to 2.5ghz using setfsb, oc it to 2.5 and rerun the test, your score will sky rocket.

You shouldn't need to overclock anything. The q720 should have turbo boost.
The 5650 should be the limiting factor anyway.
I mean, even if it plays only at low-medium settings, you can use the same account when the ps3 version comes out so you aren't really losing anything other than the purchase price of the pc version.
thanks, i meant turbo boost. And i have the same laptop, turbo to 2.5 and i got a 2900 on low.
i ran CB3 on high with little to no slow downs.
