Those crazy devs at Paragon Studios have announced a new 'Party Pack' coming soon for City of Heroes players. The pack contains a bunch of nifty new emotes including soccer, basketball and air guitar! The Party Pack will be available on September 14th for $7.99.
Ready to be the life of the party? Now you can be with the new City of Heroes® Party Pack coming your way this month! Jam-packed with all-new dance, nightlife and sports emotes, the Party Pack gives you exclusive access to some of the coolest emotes you've ever seen. Dance like a super-powered pop star or energize your Super Group with the fancy finger work of an Air Guitar performance. Maybe your idea of partying is kickin' it up on the field or b-ball court. Um.... okay. Seems kind of goofy though.
Very goofy. Considering how many people just stand around and use the game for RP alone though, not unexpected.
Those are just comstume contests, plenty of people are playing this game I can assure you. These kind of fluff items are the wave of the future with all MMOs. Remember the translucent horse Blizzard sold you a few months back?
At least it is just fluff and not something that one would feel is needed to play the game.
Finally the game changing patch we've all been waiting for.
Sounds fun, will not get personally but i can see how some people feels it would enhance their concept.

Best part about the pack, IMO. It ISN'T necessary to have this pack to play. For those who think it's "utter crap" and "a waste of time", they can ignore it and feel smug.
