Hm, my sister was wondering the same thing. I dont know anything about .Hack though, havent even played the games. My sister told me it was the concept of "being inside a game" sort of... sounds neat.
i would most definetly be playing a game with that risks. if and when games can really trasnmit pain and such, i will be the one hurting the most.
but i think that OFFICIALLY there isnt one, but who knows they might just be making noise to see if theirs enough people interested to justify making one. but then again this is all pie in the sky at this point.

.hack/sign is one of the greatest animes ever done, the soundtrack is the best anime soundtrack of all time, its got the record sales to proove it.
it is about MMORPG, and made me rethink video games, life, using virtual worlds to escape reality, and teh whole concept of entertainment,

The only thing I watch on TV is Sportscenter, Deadwood, and The Shield. Plus, I am not a big anime fan...well...more like "not" an anime fan; athough, Cowboy Bebop was incredible and got me into sci-fi books.
