Log out of the game, exit to desktop. Look in the folder FFXIV is installed in and find the FFXIV Config exe. Run the config utility and click on General. Then click the Video settings tab along the top. Option to set fullscreeen is there.
Navigate to the Square Enix folder in your programs folder.
(C:Program Files (x86)SquareEnixFINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version)
and there is a file calledffxivconfig.exe
Run that.
It is your setup file for video, gamepad and sound settings. In the video tab there is a menu for windowed or full screen mode.
Make changes and then restart game.

Ahh I changed it from Japanese.
Also do you know what the Guardian and Name Daybirth or whatever it is does? I picked the Destroyer and the 1st Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon. Any ideas what that does?
