The list is to long, to be honest.

Just about everything (mechanics wise) is needlessly over converluted (i.e. not complex, just poorly designed), antiquated or simply not well thought out.

The story arc is nice, but that's the only decent content the game has.  Leves are not well thought out, at all.  They are nothing more than a rush job, instead of adding true quests.

    OOO!! Nvm, I found AA.

But my x16 isnt' there...not that I would want to run it at x16 because these morons coded the engine horribly.

List of reasons why know one care about these "programming errors".

    1. There is no evidence you have any knowledge of programming.

    2. This is open beta and they are not worried about "customer satisfaction"

    3. xbox controller is extremely easy to use.

    4. The story and cut scenes rock.

    5. Class system is fun and make the game extremely enjoyable.

    6. Graphics are intense and are visually stunning.

    7. Questing and combat is enjoyable.

All I can say is that people need to quit judging the game based on programming errors or spelling errors and controls, because before release this will all be fixed. If you are going to judge the game, please let it be on something we actually care about like the story or quests and character development. I respect anyone who can speak honestly about these types of things (even if it is bad). But no body wants to hear about how you people think you know something about game development, because SE has been doing it a lot longer then you.

    fanboy alert!

I could rip you apart but it's late and I'm lazy lol

At least SC2 beta players weren't THIS stupid.

Clearly SE needs your help then to fix all the bugs.... oh wait they quit allowing bug reports in beta 3. And I am not a *fanboy* I never even played ff11. I was just clearly pointing out that you cant sit back and point out all the bugs and call it a bad game. So please if you have anything useful about the story, the class system, questing, or even the battling system those are things that people looking into this game can use.

SC2 was a piece of crap outdated game :P , and every mmo ever designed that comes out will always have programming errors gosh idk why people always complain and knit pick thats the point they are fixed as their put out with bug fixes patches no mmo is going to be perfect ever , if you want a perfect mmo then design your own and program it and then shove it in everyones faces , it all depends on if you like it or not if you do good for you and if you dont then move on and find something else to complain about :/

StarCraft 2 sold more than this game will hope to sell. StarCraft 2 has tournaments and e-sports going up the wazoo. I started a SC2 club at my university this year and the day I started it it automatically had 50 members and I appointed a temp VP the next day to oversee recruitment, there are now over 200 members and I've decided to start hosting small classes for APM mangement, macro vs micro, and other topics that "newbies" want to learn.

And the best part about this? I didn't even have to advertise. You normally have to have 10+ members to start a club @ a university/college, I told the club about my idea and they said "LOL screw policy, LETS DO THIS LEEEEERRROOOY". Probably gonna have first tournament before midterms.

GG mate LOL (Now go look at sale stats and compare it to FFXIV when it launches...HELL! Look at stock quotes for Square-Enix vs Activision Blizzard).

I don't play WoW (Though a few ppl wanted to start a sub-group/club for WoW raids/arena/bg, I'm not going into that because that is going to make ppl fail/drop out). You're just comparing two things on a completely different scale. It's like comparing any game to WoW's population...you simply won't win lol

You say a good thing about a game, you're a fanboy. You say a bad thing about a game, you're a troll. This seems to be some sort of unwritten rule on gaming-related forums.

  • corvenikcorvenik Member Posts: 75

half of the people are happy the other are miserable imo SC2 is crap i dont like it :P you can like it all you want, FFXIV still hasnt come out yet and their different genres to boot :P cant compare the two :P the fact is every mmo will fall short to other peoples expectations ,but it seems all people like to do is complain because their hand isnt being held ,so what dont wanna buy the game then dont just quiet and go play watever ur gonna go play and let the people who wanna play their own games alone :P because no ones gonna be satisfied by everyone elses opinions lol

Ahh but the funny thing is you made a mistake on something as simple as spelling in a small post and then claim you are just leaving it up to see how many people flame you over it but yet are running to a mmosite to flame the developers over mistakes in something a hell of alot more complicated that is in beta.I sure hope you are posting your concerns and observations to SE as freely as you do here

I don't know about the other stuff since I haven't been in open beta or payed attention after getting a shot at closed beta, but last I heard Tanaka(?) said that 1) we're idiots (short condensed version) and 2) they are looking in to adding hardware mouse (like pretty much every other pc game has), but currently have no plans to actually bother implementing it. It is in my opinion that they are makeing the pc game tedious on purpose for the sake of console controller users.
