Right only the people who enjoy the game and think others should give it the benefit of the doubt are arrogant. Only the people who are saying "well if you don't like the features then why are you still trolling?". Only the people who think its ridiculous to find a beta's lag issues deal breaking. We're arrogant, but the people who crassly and sarcasticly get on their high horses and tell us how the game doesn't hav the right features or meet their "industry standards"... they aren't arrogant. They are the victims of the fans whose game is being ripped up by people who have said they don't even intend to play. Oh the humanity!

And you have the...sense to identify those who "intend to play"? I think not, I think gamers watch the hype, fall for the front line of promises then are hyped to no end. Yea, they expect a release that is stable because there is no information stating, "Hey, our game is going to be really crapy at launch but..we "intend" to fix it all as we go". Truth in advertizing huh...wow, what a concept. Yea, tell me that a game is ready for release after years of hype and guess what is expected?????
Welcome to mmorpg forums, where almighty fans knows exactly if a game is 76.65% done and it meets the basic 'standards' of mmos(lol). Not much you can do about it more than just ignore it.
Thing is I'm not having problems with lag. Besides that though, I'd like to hear about a Beta stress-test in history that didn't involve lag. If you are having unplayable lag at this point, though, I'd think about getting a better computer. I do experience a bit of lag when I'm around 50 people, but I (rationally) write that off to the fact that it's a Beta Stress-test and if there was no lag whatsover, then the servers clearly would not be being stressed enough.
As far as how complete the game is right now, many zones are being held back for release and things like player housing are not available yet. What we have available right now is in place mostly to stress the servers. I've heard different things from different sources, but at one point I heard there's only 20% of the game implemented in OB compared to what we'll get at release.
Question though- why does that argument I'm making mean that I'm arrogant?
I do not think it means you arrogant, I think that you were one of the few who reports a smooth game operatioin which should be reported. Perhaps the lack of reference regarding the 20% turns others off because hey...we all "hear" lots of things and fact will always overcome trollness.
I would try to search and find the quote from SE about how much is in the game currently, but I'm too busy enjoying the game lol. I do know for a fact that there's at least one system being held back (housing) which obviously isn't there, which leads me to believe that it's likely what I've heard is correct that there are others are being held back as well.
It's unclear if my system is one of the few or one of the many or if it's half and half as far as playability goes, that's hard to determine. You've got to make sure your system is at least mimimum specs and hopefully recommended or better. If it is and there's something wrong, well that is a legitimate issue. Otherwise, you can't say much really.
One thing I have noticed from reading is that apparently this game is able to take advantage of 4 processor cores (the first game I've ever heard of that can, btw). I do have 4 cores so that may be making a difference.
