Geez, Im glad this is a Beta

Nice to log on this morning and find that my chars level 6 Gladiator is now level 1. I really wouldnt mind it that much but considering there are practically no mobs, its a bit irritating.

What did I expect though, it happend in FFXI, why not here...

Yep, these are the normal frustrations with all levels of betas.  And I'm sure there will be many more.  Tons of changes from closed beta are being worked on by the devs and will be rolled out to test in open beta and many of those will cause more problems.    It's best if none of us get too emotionally tied to anything we have in OB, imo.  Every morning could be a surprise! :)   That's why a lot of people normally avoid betas but it looks like no one is 'avoiding' FFXIV's beta, lol.  The servers have been packed.

I wouldnt have minded because it was the Beta, but everyone is home today and I cant find a single mob lol.

That should only bother you if you are grinding mobs, which there are very few of to start with.  Quest mobs can only be seen by you until you attack them, then everyone else can see it, but the mob is bound to you anyways.  Smart move by SE to make sure everyone can do their quests in an overcrowded starter-area.

You are completely right Unsane, the gamemechanics have been well thought out, and we will enjoy them even if these poopsocks won't.
