The game concept breaks lore? doesn't matter, The game only has two factions? this doesn't matter either, the game is going to be a WoW clone? nothing could matter less in my life, why?
Look at the graphics in the screen shots
Just look at them

lol..so graphics mean everything? dude go watch a movie for serious
They do look pretty nice.
Since they are working closely with Games Workshop, and GW is fine with this, yes, your concerns don't matter as it's their setting and they can do whatever they want with it.
Wow clone? i seriously doubt it.
2 factions? no problem here
Lore breaking? i dont think so provided they do it correctly.
Graphics? I am really looking forward to more, it fits the table top look of 40k very well.
Of course the graphics matter in a game like this, no graphics does not = good gameplay but any 40k fan should agree that there are two aspects to the 40k fluff, story and artwork.
The screenshots posted on this site look to cartoony, the standard they should have aimed for is the one shown in the relic games like DoW or the upcoming space marine but instead they have gone for the WoW or ToR look. For me this is a complete turn off and no matter what other flaws the game may have nothing can ever make up Vigil ruining the second largest aspect of 40ks fluff.

I always get a kick out of comments related to "lore breaking" or similar nonsense.
GW has to be contacted for permission regarding every single addition THQ wants to make to the game, then GW also needs to approve that decision before THQ can proceed.
There is no "lore breaking" taking place at all, GW created the lore, they have every right to make changes to it at any time they choose.
Would you accuse J.K. Rowling of breaking lore because she published a new Harry Potter novel that had changes to the storyline? No, certainly not, so why take that approach with video games?
Its hard for some people to see past thier own nose. That's not to say that people have to like it, and assuredly some wont. I have watched this lore change drastically in some cases and slowly in others over the course of 23 years. Im not terribly concerned that a new ripple may enter into the lore of 40k. I wasnt the first hunred times it happened, I wont be the next hundred times. Its just not a big deal, the heart of the game has changed yet remained entact. Yet 'The sky is falling crew' will never let common sense stop them from freaking out however.
And oh how it has changed since 1987. Some for the better, some for the worse.
