Question regarding Guilds

in Final Fantasy XIV

There are several (numerous) guilds spread around Eorzea (presumably). Players arriving in Limsa Lominsa are introduced to the Adventurers'' one. However, there is rumor among NPC's that other Guilds are interested in potential ''henchmen''.

 

Since I rolled a Marauder and that particular Guild was mentioned, I wonder if I could somehow do regional leves for them instead on the Adventurers''.

 

So how does this thing work, anyone knows?

    I believe it's somewhat part of the content that has not been released yet since it's OB. Though from my understanding, you can trade Guild Marks that you have gained and exchange them for skills or materials(?) for your job.

    You can see what the NPC offers so far but I'm not sure it's possible to acquire Guild Marks yet.
