Crafting guide Please

in Final Fantasy XIV

Can anyone link me to some crafting guides? im very confused about how it all works

and not these guides that show u what to craft, I wana know how it all works,what i need to do to even START crafting

I click on use facilites at a crafting guild and it says i need to be a diciple of the hand or something

Have no clue what to do to become that or where to start

any info would be great

    You have to equip the tools. Then you open up the menu and click on sythensize near the top under Interactions.

    Start out using rapid till you are sure you can finish.  Then if you have a medium amount of durability left use standard to get the quality up or if you have a huge amount of durability use bold to increase quality even more.  If durability drops too much go back to rapid.

    I cant wait till i can start trying to figure out how the hell to make High quality items ( or HQ, +1 items ).

    Wisht Id written down the recipes I learned in levs so I could skillup after theyr done.
