Yep, I am rolling on US servers after this, CM once again being cryptic with answers, that is when they finally answer..... theres no reason to support them anymore.
How can you get the shaft when it's free?

I, like everyone else, is just fed up of the difference in service we get.
Most people planned to roll a new character one of the new servers in EU, but since we are starting a fresh on a new server then we may as well goto the american one.

Considering the fact that it has been delayed because the patch/update has broken the U.S. servers I don't think I will join you.

This really sucks
The communication from CM have been really bad aswell.
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
But there is nothing in that annoucment which directly links the experience with the US Servers. Actually the problems the US has are only effecting existing subscribers and Life timers.
In anycase, I'm not leaving the EU servers, im already invested in them. But If I am to make a new character on a new server, then I may as well get the benefit from the american servers. It happened with DDO, and eventually the DDO Eu servers were closed and characters transfer to american servers anyway.

Sorry to hear about CM giving yall the shaft again. Certainly no major issues on Silverlode, worst thing I have heard of is on some toons the TP's from deeds might take a day or so to catch up. Considering that until last night I was not expecting and Points from completed deeds this is just all icing on the cake anyway.The store was laggy at first also but that was right when the server came up so I will forgive it
Might I suggest Silverlode Server. medium population. Not sure about how many Eu people play but I have met quite a few from Austrailia and even a Kiwi or two. At any rate whichever server you choose to go on good luck.

I would go play on the US-servers had I not been a lifetime sub on the european side.

Thanks for the info! Yea, I was going to consider just the new F2P servers, fresh start and all that. but an existing server might actually be more stable

I'm sure there are some issues...But I was on for 2 hours last night and I can honestly say everything seemed to work perfectly...The layered zones resulted in MUCH less lag too...I logged on every one of my 7 Characters, re-did my legendary points and skirmish marks. Messed around with the new vault options...Everything seemed to be working just fine...
