That's all I wanna know. I very much would love to see atleast 1 or 2 completely new servers and preferable one new PvP server like Darktide when the expansion launches next month. I wanna come back,
I really do. But coming back at level 1 on a server populated with nothing but newbs and level 200+'s doesn't sound too enticing.
Does anyone know the answer here? All I've heard is rumors. Nothing that I have found concrete as an answer to my question.
Thanks.

Rumor is there wont be new servers (except the Euro Dawnsong server) because they want to fill in the existing ones.

I'd love a new server too. I'm going to be coming back to AC when the expansion releases so I don't want to be one of the many newbs getting pimped as vassals by level 20000000+ characters when I get there. Or have a million newbs getting buffbot power leveled, except me. I kind of want to start out on a even playing field with everyone else on the server.
But I'm still coming back...AC is my true love as MMORPGs go and I've missed it a lot.
I'm coming for you Cow of Holtburg! Daddy wants a Holtburger!

I hope there is a new server when the xpac comes along, I have never played ac before but when the xpac comes out I will giveit a try. I just dont want to be the only level 1 guy playing though
That's the problem with Turbine.. they don't listen. If they made a new PvP server, or made PvP fun again, in just one patch, hundreds and maybe even thousands of old AC players would flock back to the game. That's the main problem with Darktide today. If you haven't played on it for a while, you have no chance. I mean it. You don't. Everyone is 100+ now. They need to make a new PvP server that DOES NOT allow plugins. I also think that Decal led to the downfall of AC and its PvP. Allowing plugins is just ridiculous... you suck, Turbine.
Actually, I broke down yestarday and bought AC though Turbine's Online store (I'm weak, OK! I couldn't make it till the expansion released...and I also didn't want to be one of the 1000s of level 1s flocking in when the expansion releases either)...anyway, I got on Darktide, got to level 7, killed someones mule, got some nice threads(armor), and I still have not been killed once by players or mobs (I did get chased once though and...of course...I'm off limiting Holtburg proper to myself, except for quick runs to the edge of town to see who all is there). Darktide is pretty quite right now and you won't have as hard of time as you may think there, although I am almost certain there will be some serious Newb ownage the day the expansion goes live.
In fact, let us all have a moment of silence for all the newbs that will be man-handled on Darktide the day ToD releases.

on that darktide server can u loot someone once you kill them or how does it work
yeah they drop loot depending on how expensive their loot is. It goes by the cost of their items. Starts with highest costing item and works down. So if you kill noobs they will probably drop their armor and weapons before anything else. If you kill a main's alt, more than likely he will drop some extremely expensive and useless items.
Thats if you play the Red version of PvP or on Dark Tide. If you go PK Lite on regular servers or Pink Version, then you drop nothing at all.
