guild marks

in Final Fantasy XIV

I guess these arent in game yet?  Does anyone know if I will need to move to a town that has a conjurer guild before I can earn conjurer guild marks?  Actually Im wondering if I should start in a town with a conj guild or if it matters not.

    I don't think Guild Marks are in yet. As for Conjurer's Guild, I'm likely to believe it might be related to the Arcanist Guild (same goes for Thaumaturge). Then again, there are a few areas in most Cities that are still "blocked", so it's possible they will be added at launch.

     

    I don't know more than that.

    I thought at first the arcanist guild was a combo thaumaturgy and conjurer guild, but then I went back found and they dont have anyone selling abilities like other guilds.  I wonder if that is the placeholder guild for another caster class they are planning to add.

    That's been the theory for a while, along with the musketeer's guild.

    You can get guild marks, they only come from 20+ leves so far, I'm not sure if more ways to obtain them will be added on release. It's highly plausible though.
