You want to know what MxO has that WoW doesnt offer, here it is.

-Role playing, some poeple see it as very important.

-Harder to level, WoW is way too easy to level in.

-Combat, the combat in MxO is far superior than WoW's.

-Graphics, They just plain out rock WoW's.

-PvP, MxO actually has constructs (battlegrounds for all you WoW'ers.) and Open pvp on hostile servers.

-No class restriction, you hate having a pet? switch to martial artist. its not hard.

-Servers, Theres no que's. and i barely get kicked out anymore from lag.

-community, the level 50's dont act like elitest Gods. they help poeple out. its one of the nicest and funnest communitys in a MMORPG.

Remember its a new game so there are still some bugs. but theres still a lot less bugs than WoW.

remember, they are totally differant atyles of games.

One is a cartoonish fantasy game, with low difficulty, IMO geared toward first-timer MMO players. Basicallt the same as every other fantasy game, with a new coat of paint.

MxO is a sci-fi based RPG, whith bits of mechancics familiar to other MMOs, and large chunks that are totally unique. It's more of an RPG than pretty much any other MMO out there at the moment. Constant progression of story, daily events, live "feature characters", an in-game newspaper, and a feeling tha YOU are makng a differance in the game.

    Things you'll want to consider:

Make damn sure you have a gigabyte of RAM.

You may want to do a bit of research, after you decide on a server, and find a good clan ASAP!

In the end, it boils down to your play style. If you're used to the generic fantasy MMO, and want more of the same, WoW or EQ2 might be what you're after.

If you're lookig for something unique, challenging, with INTENSE role-play and story, and integral PvP....MxO may be what you want.

    The problem is choice.

I wouldnt compare the two games as they are 2 different genres. If u like the matrix environment (city, etc) then try it.

If you like fantasy, then give WoW a try.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

It all depends on the game style you like

    WoW is fantasy

    and

MxO is in my book considered Sci-Fi
