Is it even remotely worth it to start playing this game again? What is the population like? Server set up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried a few months ago, and it was different than the glory days which I remembered. There's a trial I'm pretty sure. I'd reccommend installing that and seeing if it all comes back to you. I saw people, but I suspect they were high level alts mostly. It did not come back to me, sadly.
Any idea on population numbers? I had some high level Hibbies but would probably roll as a Midgard char.
No clue on pop. Try camelotherald.com and see if they have any indication still?
You ever play in a guild called CoV Angutar?

Population is high right now with the server merge. Over the weekend I did a /who on all 3 realms and it was over 3.5k players. Now.. given the buffbot issue the real player count was probably around 2.5k.. but that's not too shabby. Thid and Molvik usually have 100-200 players and RvR is hot and heavy with keeps and relics being taken on a daily basis.

Wow that sounds awesome. Refresh my memory, what does CoV stand for? Citizens of Virtue or something similar?

Anyhow.. just to clarify that 100-200 includes the usual buffbots stationed in the port keeps. Still usually something going on in both of those BGs though.. and lots of Frontier action. I was out trying to exp there today with level 30ish characters and got runover by groups about 10 times in different spots and by different realms. Always seem to be multiple keeps being taken.

You would think, but my name is pretty unique and if I recall correctly it was a guild I joined after I came back (one of several times) and none of them really stuck in my head like the guild I played with originally (nothing against your guild of course). But I think I'm going to reactivate and roll Midgard, probably a Hunter. Maybe I'll run into you in a BG (and kill you hehe).
