How is this F2P launch day if all of the servers are down?

in Lord of the Rings Online

Is it just my computer or did I miss something or have all of the servers been down for most of today?

    They are not down if you are using NA servers

    Imladris (recommended), riddemark, darrowdelf, and crickhollow are the top 4 on the list I see.  I thought those were the NA servers.

    they are the 4 new servers and they have a que possibly but they are not down. go down to my other thread and see the numbers since f2p

    Thanks for the info.  My client is listing them all as down.  I guess something is wrong on my end.

    If so then they just went down. as I havent been ingame in about one hour. Hope they come back up for you soon if thats the case. :)

     dude your ends most likely fine . so many players want to get in beings the games now free theres going to be steady waves of near serv. crashs for the 1st week.. It was the same hell when DDO did this , the mass waves will only last a week or 2 , 4 weeks or so for weekend warriors .  then the botter hopefuls will see theres no point in botting , the  make tons of accounts to transfer cash shop points from account to account players will find out points dont transfer , and the spammers will see open chat isnt used in this game . then  the serv. will be back to right.

    The launcher is showing all worlds are up with 3 older servers have short wait times. Those are Landroval, Brandywine and Elindilmir.

    All servers are UP as I have been logging in and out for various non-game related reasons since noon my time about 5 1/2 hours ago.

    If you are showing all servers as DOWN I would suggest you check your firewall. Failing that, check the lotro tech website.

    Thanks for all the advice and help.  I checked my firewall and that did not fix it.  I 'm going to try a reinstall and see if I have any luck there.

    Not sure what it is but it is definitely something with your end. I have been in game all day long.

    I am downloading from the site. I'm at 19% and I started about 45 minutes ago. It is pretty slow but I guess it's a large file.

    I had that problem. My existing Turbine account was tied to the beta, and to DDO. I repeatedly saw all red servers. I created a new account and everything worked.
