Name 10 things that you dislike about WoW, that none of the other top 10 MMORPGs does not also do.
If you cant name 10, at least try to reach 5 things at least.
By Top Ten, I mean
top ten (subscription MMO)or/(Population)/or(Most Played.)

What exactly is your criteria of "Top 10 MMORPG's" ? Or better yet, could you name the 10 games so we know what we're doing.
top ten subscription MMO/Population/Most Played.
Your Choice.

Why do I have to hate 5-10 things about a game before I don't play it? Why can't I just really, really hate one or two?
I hate WoW's graphics, its "destination more important than the journey" raiding end-game, its lack of a strong story-based questline, and that it has a subscription.
GW has none of those issues, so I play GW.
But since that's only four things, I'm not allowed to hate those things about WoW?
Reading this thread was a waste of my time.
It has no point.
10 things, seems way too many. And I don't see why things other game does too means it is discounted. But ok:
1. Dated graphics. (Good art and coding but the game looks really old).
2. Soloplay is easier than in any other MMO. (it really is).
3. Random dungeons makes it possible for total jerks that can't get a group on their own server to continue ninja looting.
4. It influences other games to become more like Wow. It is not really Wows fault of course but that wasn't the question.
5. over use of instances. Only GW and DDO are worse, Wow is going for more and more instanced play while you can do very little in the open world.
I think that is about it. But there is about the same number of things I like about Wow too and many that makes me go "Meh". The game in itself used to be pretty nice but MMOs rarely ages with dignity, just like rap artists. And it is after GW the best programed online game.
Threads like this easily turns into flame wars and Wow do have many positive things too. So 5 worst and 5 best things about Wow would probable be better. Attracts fewer trolls.
Well IMO, a non-fanboy/hater, would be less bias and more easily abled at finding the flaws in a game. This goes with any game.
What ever those things that WoW does different that the other top MMORPGs do not do, must be part of WoW's strong impact.

Maybe, but I think it is alot because Wow has great coding and bugs are fixed fast. The game that should be the competition was eq2 and it was really buggy and had little content at launch.
When LOTRO released Wow was already growing to a giant and when MMO reach a certain number of subs it just grew by itself.
Wow released in the perfect time, when EQ was dying but no good similar game out yet (EQ2 sucked at the time, it is nice now). And Blizzard know how to program and have always been good on making the players happy.
But Wow have very few features they invented themselves, almost everything comes from other games. The dungeon finder is one of the few things.
But as long as other MMOs have crappy programing and are released with little content and 6 months too early Wow will rule. Call it polish or good coding, but only Wow and GW has it, and GW is a low budget game and a CORPG like DDO instead of a MMORPG.
1. I dislike the stale PvE combat system which is composed of 50% doing the same thing over and over and over and 50% of memorizing the strat for a particular boss (so you then do that over and over and over when you fight that boss). There's basically no room for much creativity, and you almost never have to think on your feet. There's no room for being clever.
2. I dislike that the endgame is composed entirely of raiding and PvP...that's it. I'm not the biggest PvP fan (though I am not bad at it), and raiding leads to the first problem which makes raiding extremely boring for me.
3. The Random Dungeon system is a community destroyer. It basically forces people to play with others they'll never meet again, which means everyone involved is free to be a total jerk. Now, many people aren't total jerks, but this great enabling of jerks and the fact you can form lasting relationships with people from other servers does a lot of community damage.
4. The game in general is not designed to support and foster a good community. This appears in all aspects of the game design (the Random Dungeon thing deserves special mention because it is a new killer, rather than one that has been around since the game was made). People aren't rewarded for being nice or being cooperative in any fashion, which just fosters rather mean-spirited attitudes overall.
5. The end-game is far, far, far too focused on gear. The whole game revolves around getting gear and gear has become one of the dominent factors in evaluating someone else. (This does tie into point 4).
6. Grouping during leveling makes content a joke. This makes the content boring, so in a realy way it discourages grouping rather than encouraging it.
Obviously a lot of these things tie into each other. The graphics don't bother me (never been a stickler for the latest graphics. The controls for the game are solid. A lot of things about the game are just fine. (I do hate the Holy Trinity, but it is so pervasive I didn't feel I could list it above...it has a lot to do with making combat repetitive and stale. I also don't like the quest system without choices -- and I thought this should change long before TOR or GW2 was ever announced). There's certainly a lot WoW does right.
Sell hard, sell strong, WOW Warrior!
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein
"Graphics are often supplied by Engines that (some) MMORPG's are built in" - Spuffyre

Philosophy of MMO Game Design
Isn't this pretty much an impossible bar to reach? The top 10 MMOs all share basic ideas and gameplay. I doubt I can find more than 1 or 2 unique features for each top 10 MMO.
I'm not a big fan of any of the large MMOs right now because they are so similar.
Current: None
Played: WoW, CoX, SWG, LotRO, EVE, AoC, VG, CO, Ryzom, DF, WAR
Tried: Lineage2, Dofus, EQ2, CoS, FE, UO, Wurm, Wakfu
Future: The Repopulation, ArcheAge, Black Desert, EQN
1. Playerbase
2. No ingame monitoring to control # 1
3. No viable crafting system
4. Honor kills in pvp. You end up with kids running in circles farming kills instead of completing objectives to win.
5. Daily quests. It has totally ruined economy. Go find a level 5 green for less then 40g..
6. The gradual simplifiying of the game stats. You don't need a spreadsheet. Percentages are what...3rd grade math?
7. Chat channel abuse without consequences.
8. Rp servers have very little rp rules enforced.
9. Low drop rates. Every boar has a liver ffs!
10.Lack of unique gear. Cookie cutter armor anyone?
11. Lack of ability to color your armor
12. The appearance of purchasing pets and mounts. How about more content instead?
That was right off the top of my head...
Oh! one more!
13. The way they take expansions and "place them on top of" instead of integrating them with previous content.
"nice level 80 epic. Too bad a Level 81 green will be better. Hope you didn't take too much time to get that."
LOTRO has their BG-like PvE encounters. That's not raiding or PvP.
EvE has a combat system that makes thing more complicated from what I've seen.
So, you want the 10 things disliked about WoW that all the other top 10 MMORPGS do too?
