    We would like to thank everyone who has participated in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test.

    The open beta test currently being conducted is scheduled to end at 12:00 a.m. on September 20, 2010 (GMT). Following the end of the open beta test, the beta test site will close at 7:00 a.m. on September 21, 2010 (GMT).

    *Client downloads will cease simultaneously with the end of the open beta test.
    *The bug report form will be closed simultaneously with the beta test site.

    There isn’t much time left in the open beta test, but we would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and support.

    Regarding the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test Schedule




    FINAL FANTASY XIV is currently going through its final adjustments in the Beta Test before being officially released and we are still continuing to receive applications for the Beta Test. For those who have yet to participate, feel free to apply.



    The FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test is scheduled to end on Sep. 19, 2010 at 17:00 (PDT).

    Those who haven't tried out the open beta yet, you're on equal footing with the rest of us: considering they cut out any crafting recipes after tier 1 and all the story missions after the first, you won't need more than a week to exhaust open beta. ;P

    honestly i havent been burning my beta candle at both ends. ive got into the game, made some characters, learned whats what, now im waiting for retail on the 22nd (pre ordered my ce).  the crafting, it taunts me so, you have to do like all the jobs or have a band of people co op jobbing to craft a damn thing!  and you need fire crystals to smelt!  metal armor isnt something that appears to be viabl in the first tier areas, so im thinking leather/boneworks may be the way to go there, i mine up alot of bone, so im almost thinking theres some type of bone armor hehe, or not, idk!
