Today marks an occasion that has not been seen in an age. We MMORPG.com brethren have come together to hand out possibly 400-800 keys just by forum posts and PM's alone!

Everyone deserves a pat on the back for this one!

    Completely agreed. Thanks to who sent my key, and hope the two who got my keys enjoy ^^

    Yep, and you can bet your ass I'll be there moments after the servers open up in order to snake names. Sadly, I think you have to get through the 20 minute tutorial level to get to the naming/customization screen. So's I gotta do that 3 times quickerly.

    Probably more than just a few. I've searched around other forums and there's so many other threads like this with 5-6 pages. The only keys posted were in the first two, maybe four to six keys total and the rest were people just asking for keys. smh.

    No doubt some got lost in the mix, but I got mine via PM, and one of the guys I sent mine to thanked me in a reply and forwarded his as well.  So while you may only see "can i haz key plz" I think they're changing hands more than you realize - and that's a good thing!  If the folks who got skipped stay persistant, I'm sure they'll get hands on keys as well.

     

    I'm still pretty surprised just how fast I got mine.  It was in my inbox within something like 2-3 minutes of my post...

    So all the keys given out  then? Would have liked to have gotten one.

    How many delicate flowers have you met in Counterstrike?

     Yeah it was certainly a pleasant surprize, havn't witnessed generousity like that on these forums, ever.

     That beta key chain thread seems to have died down now, would assume that means mostly all keys have been used up by now, BUT there is still hope for those who havn't got their hands on one yet!

     Sure there are a few more sites getting more too if you look hard enough.

     

     I wonder why mmorpg has taken no part in this though, perhaps we'll see some being given away here Monday too? If not then I think i'll be switching mmo sites.

    What's weird is they never emailed me my two extra keys,  If they would have I would have given them away .

    Actually, I'm guessing it's their way of tracking interest for the beta so that they know what to expect in terms of server loads, how many servers to open, etc. since the keys seem unlimited. Pretty brilliant if that's the case and definitely something other betas should take example from if they intend to call them "open".
