Error 20524 - How do I fix this?

in Final Fantasy XIV

After updating wih the 9/9 patch, I keep getting this error. It downloads the patch ok, its only when installing, I have attempted to use Utorrent to download seperatly and still get this error., has anyone else got it ? And if so, how did you get around it?

    A shot in the dark but, have you installed the FFXIV mouse lag fix recently?

    Uninstall.

    That's it.

    I'd concur with ataghan. If you restore the games exe it should patch fine.

    Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
