Vindictus early access keys, mistakes on the key offerings at mmorpg.com?

I am pretty sure Vindictus has no distributor for the EU, and that the game is IP blocked for the entire region. Currently only licensed in the americas and australia.

hence those europeans who managed to grab a key would be faced with some dissapointment tomorrow when they cant play the beta no?

usually mmorpg.com does a pre-emptive block on member accounts registered to eu peeps by not allowing us to grab the keys in these types of offerings. I wasnt aware of the license issue and grabbed 2 for myself and hubbie. And registered them as well before realising the IP block was still in place.

Does anyone know more about this please? I'd rather not download the client only to find it wont let me use it afterwards

Well as far as i am aware, this is a nexon game and nexon always blocks ip's out of their regional game playing field. So i would guess it's ip blocked

They announced a EU service coming later this year at Gamecom, or whatever it was called, the one that took place in Germany lol.

So naturally that would mean EU ip's will be blocked from the NA version, not sure if they are as of this momment or will be on the 15th, but without a doubt they will be eventually, even in the CB application they stressed the fact that you had to be from North America, though some other countries did get in (Austrailia mainly).

Yeah Im aware there is a eu version of the game in the works. However it seems a shame that a thread with 167+ pages effectively having people swap buddy keys, and the original offering here at mmorpg.com completely overlooked the issue.

Im a little dissapointed for getting myself all excited about playing tomorrow - not blaming mmorpg.com for that LOL - Im just saying as a relatively levelheaded person, that they should add such information in the offering text for future beta key projects or they shouldnt let the eu members grab keys - just to avoid the waste.

massively has a new batch up, and again none of the information regarding the IP block is available.

You have to go to the games own website, access the community forums, or look at old news to find the information.
