Closed .... What happens when I reopen

in Lord of the Rings Online

Lets see my account started as a trail account, from there i have the first expansion , MOM and SOM ( and the explorers pack).

Do i wait until the FTP is live ( is it live now ? ) ? If and when i do reactivate what will i have access to if i were to stay F2P level.

 

I mean i have all ready paid for these expansions i should at least get what i paided for right.

    you keep the expacs and the explore pack afaik. but you wont have the original games quest packs, and will need to purchase them using turbine points. either grinding deeds or buying them.

    Ok, im going to do some assumptions, just yell if they are wrong. So your a NA customer of Turbine, before the F2P launch(yes its live now in US) you had a trial account and upgraded that with Mines of Moria and Siege of Mirkwood, but not the adventurer pack. Correct so far?

    Anyway you could log in right now, and would have 5 active charslots(no chars lost, you get to pick which are active if you have more). Content wise your a premium player, with full access to Bree, Shire and Ered Luin quests. No access to other zones quests till moria, from whereupon you would have access to Moria itself, Lotlohrien, Mirkwood and associated quests and skirmishes. You would not have access to the quests in the new zone enedwaith.

    Spot on. though He should have 7 Character slots I beleive.

    3 from being Premium, 2 from MoM and 2 from the Explorrers Pack as well as some shared storage (not sure bout the M0M storage bit, but thats what Ive heard, am an EU player so still waiting to find out)

    Hmm yeah, he probably meant the adventurer pack with that explorer comment, i didn't get that and ignored it. In that case he would have 7 chars and 20 shared storage per server.

    Thank you all for the great information. Just one more thing. When I go to the site and log in to my old account to reactivate it asks me what subscription type I want ( the one month 3 month ect). do I have to create a free account then link to my old account first ?

    If you don't plan to subscripe (VIP) now, then you should be able to just log in to the game with your old account.

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
