    Archer=10

    Conj=10

    Carpenter = 8

    I tried to like Beta, but couldn't. Not because I didn't like the game, but because there's *Way* too many people in the game and it's so impossible to finish leve quests or grind because of it, lol. Me and about 5 other guys spent most of our time in silence trying to attack a single monster outside the town. Lol, I felt like I was HM camping all over again.. *sigh* =P

    I realize this new piece of news directly from SE has reawakened a lot of the hype for the game.

    I just have to caution those who think all these changes will be immediately implemented, because if you didn't notice the red text disclaimer in the article I'll quote it for you.

    "Announced features are still under development, and may change before and after release"

    Just saying, your miracle patch might take awhile to actually be realized to the extent you are all now imagining.

    I'm still not sold - probably might check it out a few months down the road to see whats going on...

     Stop calling it a fucking miracle patch, NOONE here is calling it that... jesus h. christ..... and of course the may be changed before and after a release, its a MMO, not a console game, the only definate is change... and if you're not sold, you're ot sold. hope you find something else that entertains you.

    I've seen at least now one or two folks who were adamant about "i'm not touching this P.O.S" turn the worm and now say "well......maybe i'll give it a look in a few months." it makes me.....grin. :-)

    Well that's good. I think, like FFXI, in a year it'll be a really good game.

    Without trying to sound like a hater but, I highly doubt they will fix all those issues in one week, do you? It's amazing that an MMO company has actually listened to its fans and is going to work and iron out problems.

    But they must employee retards at SE if it took Fans to tell them what the fuk needed fixing in the first place. Apart from tweaking the UI, the UI is always going to be crap and slow with one window at a time and painful just to craft and sell. If you don't think they are retarded, well it took what 4 years of development time to realise that yes maybe they should have a hardware mouse.

    I'm amazed that fixing group enmity is NOT going to be fixed at launch(yes they mentioned they will be working on it but i'm sceptical it will be sorted by launch), it kind of defeats the purpose of grouping after the beginning levels if a tank can not tank. What about SP from being in a group? I'm pretty sure I saw no mention of the broken SP in a group. Which adds another reason not to group as you can't progress from it compared to solo.

    Some issues in the article I don't expect to be fixed by launch, however at least a company have listened for once.

    Sorry for this negative rant but I thought people should be realistic; rather than hoping everything that was an issue in the open beta will be fixed by launch, then being disappointed. We have their word they are 'working' on things but that doesn't necessary means by launch. If this is the case, they shouldn't be launching the game so soon.

    this is correct. they were the guild leve cards. not a card game. im guessing he had a vision similar to the one you see on the benchmarker. thats why he choose that card.

    For those still ignoring  the warning signs, there is little hope.  While I can't say everything SE says is a lie... but most of it will not be as described. It's a pre-launch party? SE knows how to sell games and that is what a pre-launch party is aimed at.  Xuiton said it best.... "well it took what 4 years of development time to realise that yes maybe they should have a hardware mouse."

    Oh and yes... marketing has very little to do with actual game development.... hasn't anyone  told them to not listen to the hype?

    I find this statement...funny.

    If anyone can perform a miracle it's him!

    Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.

    Why couldn't you finish a leve? Leve targets spawn for you and your party and are only attackable by you and your party.  But anyway, it's because you were sitting right near town that you couldn't find anything. Try venturing north of or something.  If you start in Limsa Lominsa, you can go quite a ways north and still find newbie monsters (Wharf rats, for example).

    It's a very encouraging list for sure, very nice to know that they are listening to the players and are going to make an effort to deal with our main complaints, but I have to think that some of it is more of a wish list, stuff they want to get in but, to be realistic, may be a long time coming.

    I'll bet that "pvp" is building a cake and then throwing it at chocobos. ;)

    I think most of the fans are actually excited that these things (as they stand now) will be fixed in the near future. I don't think the majority of them have any dillusions that it will all be fixed at launch.  I looked at most of the posts and didn't read anywhere they thought finally all the things that we asked for will be fixed by launch.  Most like i said are glad they are going to fix them.

    Most everyone is smart enough to know that once something is decided it takes time to fix things. First they need to find out what is causing the problem. then figure out how to fix it without (hopefully) breaking something else. Then they can fix it.  Thats an awful long list of stuff to do between now and launch and the only way they will be able to get that out at launch is if they already had the data implemented which would have to allow for forethought on their part.

    The only time i expect something fixed in the next week or two (or in this case launch) is when i see it in patch notes which is attached to a server downtime otherwise i figure they will fix it eventually (within a month or two).

    Also SE is first a console company, they were originally square soft.  Now while i agree that the mouse hardware thing should have been implemented, maybe they were looking for more of a console feel and felt that it wasn't needed but by looking at the customers realized they actually do need it? I dunno whats going through their heads and i don't perceive to know.

    I know those that want to be "realist" want to try to bring others down but why can't the fans be happy about something they like without everyone else trying to "bring them down to reality" last time i looked reality, at least the normal one kinda sucked in my opinion, thats why i play games, so why would i want to be brought back down to it?  I say let them be happy, it's their money and their time.  It's okay to say it's your opinion but it crosses the line when people say they are silly or stupid or some other such thing for believing hype or the company.

    Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

    Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

    There's a bit of logic and reasoning.

    The PR guys at SE are paid to do this kind of work.

    Yeah noticed it after watching it again but still wish they implement a card game and not separate like in ffxi.

    This is really a good start. At this rate the game could be playable come PS3-Release, great!
