I have only played the game for a few hours, but I wanted to post a few of the most standout features:
Graphics: In the graphics department, the art team has done a great job with armor reflections. The armor isn't perfectly smooth as it is in other games. The bronze shields are dented in the opening sequence, and the dents affect the way the light reflects. For a F2P game, it has some of the best graphics I have ever seen.
Combat: Combat is very smooth. Nearly every object in the room was breakable. If I hit a building post while hitting an enemy, the building post would shatter. The environment feels very cool and unique with the ability to really interact with your surroundings. The combat is very fast paced, in a more action style combat, somewhat similar to DDO, only much more refined and smooth. So far it is a lot of mouse spamming, but in no way does it feel boring.
Overall this game looks like it could be the best F2P released to date. Nexon has me hooked thus far.
The servers are unstable as it is open beta, so expect that if you play beta.

I couldnt agree with your post more. This game even in open beta has made me already cancel my eq2 accounts. Looks like i will be selling those cause this game rocks. I just bought a GTX 470 card and man even on maxed out settings i still get no lag very nice and smooth. I am impressed and already hooked. The combat is not like other games ESP eq2 where you do the exact same thing and dont even feel like your interacting with the mobs at all its just swing swing mob dies lol sony could learn a few things heck for that matter blizard could learn a few things as well from this game lol. When you interact with a mob you interact with a mob i still love grabbing the mob , slamming his face into the wall and then throwing him down the side of the wall into his friends lol
This game freaken rocks.
Im east server
Played for the first time this morning, good solid 2 hours before servers went down for a patch. No lag, no disconnect, great graphics, smooth combay, i'm impressed !
I played for a while this morning. Very nice!
It's very instanced, but that doesn't keep it from being really fun to play. I love kicking the crap out of Gnolls!
Uses the Half Life 2 engine so it should run on nearly every computer in existence, that's a good feature.
Did the Gold Gnoll Leather quest last night and had to run the dungeon about 6 times to get the drop, that got old fast.
I noticed in another thread that the person that starts the party, hosts the game(uses their computer as server?) I'm not sure if this is true but the game "Stuck" a good few minutes when one of the party members dropped.
Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
I guess I got lucky because I got the gold gnoll leather on my first run through. I am worried about bag space because i am filling up quite quickly with mats already.
Ever since LOTRO went F2p and took away bags and sells them in cash shop and allods does the same thing, I have been worried about how other f2ps are going to use this strategy to make you buy something.
Just as a head's up, you will get 2 extra bags naturally through missions, but the latter 4 are probably CS (whenever that opens up). So far the progression works, because you will get full just by the time you reach the Gnoll Chieftain and get your 2nd.
