    Buyer beware.

Besides, what would they refund you with?  Monopoly money?  They're broke.

Without even coming within miles of  looking at the user agreement, I can tell you that somewhere in it is a clause that says they can cease any and all activity whenever they want without recompense.

people who spent money knew the ramifications of a shutdown. You buy at your own risk and if it closes you get no refund.  People should already understand  choices come with  a good side and a bad , this one has the  bad, in that it is shutting down. Last time i checked they didnt give refunds for fury, auto assault, AC2, and many other  closed mmos.

Edit: why do people always say it has something to do with capitalism, LOL

Ya thats why people will be come more carefully and what not when coming to buy games Need for SPEED World just went free to play and they screwed over the paying custmers with trying to give a 7 day rental after they paid, and the game is as new as APB .

What is sad both games have EA's name  on them so be wared with EA/s name/. I,m done buying any game with EA,s name on them.

At the very least NCSoft gave us Tabula Rasa and I believe Auto Assault users some game time to their other games. Something is better than nothing. Personally, I'd like a signed copy of Crackdown ported for my PC signed by Dave I-Screwed-Up himself.

You are going to miss out on a lot then because EA doesn't even make half the games that have their name on them.

they should have just stuck to console games imo, but i guess it didnt hurt them to try in the end. Well it did by making them bankrupt, just goes to show the market of mmos is just a harsh environment. Crackdown was an alright mediocre game, just wish they would have down crackdown2. They really dont have to do anything, i could see a newsletter at least a few weeks before closure but thats about it. Really no one should expect anything from corporate backed entities in the gaming industry, some companies have saved some video games other shot it in feet, make it mame and it wont do much.
