G4 seems to be a wild bunch. Sometimes I have difficulty trying to figure out if they are for real or if they drink too many quarts of $18 booze just before going on the air.
What are your thoughts.

Buisness as usual at G4 haha.
It's easy to scoff at G4's light, frivolous attitude, but let's face it: their unapologetic jibes about EVE's boring gameplay are pretty accurate.

Yes, how terrible. Woe is me... G4 treated MMO's with a bit of levity, and *GASP* called EVE boring! Would you really want to watch a rigid pompous newscast about video games? None of the news from G4 is groundbreaking if you read forums like these. What part was too over-the-top for you OP?

G4? Didn't there used to be a cable channel by that name?
That's funny, because when G4 was TechTV (you know, back when 60% of the programming was watchable?), they said EVE had amazing gameplay.
I forget his name, but he was G4 too. He ran XPlay and was actually an avid gamer.
It doesn't matter anyway, like someone already said.... who the hell watches G4 anymore?

I found eve's gameplay to be horribly boring, i like sandboxes. Also the self-richeous community, you know the game where everyone is a self proclaimed genious simply for taking the time to learn evers ins and outs, didnt help much.
But to each their own, some people dont play mmorpgs for the same reasons you do. Also EvE seems to still be somewhat thriving, so whatever, it works.
Oh and i thought G4 appealed to the 12-18 year old boy techie crowd, which explains their goofyness. Again to each their own, if it works, grats to them.
That is a very good answer, and explains a great deal..
Because I am so far from "12-18 year old boy techie ... goofyness" I doubt we can be found in the same solar system, let alone thought process.

Damn straight. If my video game shows are more exciting than Antiques Roadshow, I will not watch them. Because I am not some 12-18 year old techie boy.
