Free MMORPG download, but with a monthly fee

Yeh, well I need a MMORPG that needs a monthly fee, but that is free to download. I tried DAoC and AO, but I'm not sure about these games yet.
Don't suggest games like RYL or korean MMORPG's. They're all alike.

Lineage 1 or Mir3 might be your best choice if you go for 2d Game!
as for 3d i would suggest Asheron's Call 2 or 1 or EVE!
UO and EverQuest both have trial programs right now, and both are games well worth giving a try. Each has monumental amounts of content to consume.

No, you can download the full version of UO for free right now. I believe you can download EQ too, but im not sure what expansions if any you wil lget.
well, after the trial, you have to buy the Game online when you buy it (the same price as theyr Monthly fees) you download it from the link they Give u, then you have 1 Month free with it! so its just like Downloading and Pay for it ^^!

Technically, it costs 10 bucks, but the first month is free, so it's about the same as what you want.

Do both EQ and UO trials require a CC?
I prefer AC2, AC, or UO.
Look at the Free MMORPG list. Free to download and free to play, but there are advantages to paying a monthly subscription fee.
Try Rubies of Eventide at www.eventide.net, Ashen Empires at www.ashenempires.com, Everquest II's Trial of the Isle is free to play until June 2006 (I heard, not free to download at moment, but likely by June 2005).
Really, though, if you buy the game the first 30 days is generally free - so if you get a bargain (say a game for $ 15) it will be the same as paying for that first month.

WoW requires an invite, and they dont require a CC for trial.
Jumpgate is also a free download with a cheaper monthly fee of $10 a month, AND a free 10 day trial.
In this game, you actually fly the ship with your own skills, not stat based.

try eve online.. second best MMORPG... its free to download.. and costs 14 euros/mounth

Ok thx, I'm still between DAoC, EVE and CoH actually since you can digitally purschase a key for CoH and it's pretty cheap also.
Anhoter thing I would like to know is that if I try WoW's 10 day trial then after that do I have to buy the game or is it like for Asheron's Call 2?
