I never played this MMO but it is sad to see a non-warcraft mmo lose.
The creaters of Global Agenda just released a letter about the shutdown and is offering a 30% discount on the game using the promotion code: LongLiveShooterMMOs
I don't think APB was anything near Global Agenda but I know Global Agenda is no where near Warcraft either. I would defintley give the trial a chance though.

I had some really good times in this game. Too bad it has to shut down already. Nothing like rolling down the street with 3 guys hanging out the car windows mowing people down and running from a group behind you trying to kill you.
