Can take upto 2-3 days for you to get your 500 VIP points.

If you do not get it by then submit a ticket to turbine to get them.

Wait, so if you were subbed for any amount of time you should get TP? I was subbed for about 2-3 month's this last spring, so should I get TP? I was under the impression it was just people that were subbed when it went to F2P? If this is the case, I have not gotten my TP either and has been a few days since I started playing again.

You're supposed to get up to 3k TP depending on when your account was made active prior to f2p, as well as 500 TP per month that you had an active sub and logged in at least once a month since June of this year.

I have not received any of my loyalty TP either, and frankly it's a bit disheartening. I am in a huge Kinship, and literally everyone in my kin besides me has gotten their loyalty rewards.

I know it's a big conversion process, but it was pretty seemless in DDO when it went f2p. I got my loyalty points the first day it launched as f2p...

Apparently not a lot of us are in my position, because I haven't seen any threads about not getting loyalty rewards.

    I don't think so, actually.

The Loyalty thing required you to be subbed from the F2P announcement (the thing was basically so people wouldn't quit subscribing) to the launch of F2P.

So you don't qualify for that.

And since you started subbing before F2P went into effect, you won't get points for being a VIP (at least I think you don't) because you get those when your VIP starts (after F2P launch).

My payment date is the 13th (I actually have a lifetime sub). I  got my points for VIP on Sept 13th (they say it can take 1-2 days later, but I got mine right on it).

If you continue to subscribe, you'd get VIP points on Sept 18th (once you have given Turbine more money)

You've actually confused the terms about the loyalty points.  The logging in once a month was only for lifetimers.  For others, you simply had to subscribe from June 1st to when it went F2P and you'd qualify for the loyalty points.

It took me 3 days after the launch to get mine, I started playing like a year and a half after it came out.

I have read of others not getting theirs on the official boards, apparently you are supposed to submit a ticket. Though it's possible you're not eligible and that's why you didn't get them.

Well was fine till I heard this, now Turbine seems to be ripping a few vets off... not fun at all. Guess I will try to call since this is the case.

Hrm, so which situation is true? Two different posts regarding this subject now. I was subbed last year and for a few months, would I earn those points or not? If not seems kind of silly for Turbine to only give it to players subbed in the last few month's and not ones subbed a little while back..

Just out of curousity, did you transfer any of your characters to another server? One of my friends did that and he just got his Turbine Points a few days ago where the rest of our Kinship had them all last week.

They aren't "ripping off" anyone, as you so harshly put it.  A minority of players have not received their veteran Turbine Points due to various reasons that for some reason block the automatic point distribution system they put into place for this function to not trigger correctly.  All someone has to do is submit a ticket and as long as they qualify for the points, Turbine will fix it so that person gets the points they're supposed to have.

It's not silly.  Veteran players are people who have been playing for a long time, not people who bought the game a year or two ago, played for a few months, then canceled their subscription.

I believe the poster before this one is correct.  I think that you only get the retroactive points if you had an active subscription from the time the F2P announcement was made until the release.  But really, if you only subscribed for a few months you would only get 1000 TP, and you've saved way more money than it would cost to buy 1000TP in the store not being subscribed to the game for the last year.

I appreciate the heads up, but I was assured you get 500 points per month subscribed since June until f2p launch regardless if you stayed subbed the whole time or not. If it isn't the case, no biggie, I just have to wait till I get some extra money to resub or buy some points. I appreciate the info, though! :)

(Sorry I forgot who the last poster is) Yes, I had a couple characters I had transferred a couple years back. I suppose that could be why I haven't gotten my points.

EDIT: Just saw they added in you had to have an active sub the whole time. I missed it by 2 weeks... losing about 4-5k of TP in the process....  Not too happy right now.

Thanks again, trance, I would not have looked it up if you hadn't mentioned it.

Some things do make sense honestly, wasn't trying to be "harsh." I like what Turbine has done to the game, but some other things just really don't make a whole lot of sense. Which as a business they had to draw the line somewhere I suppose, but it honestly doesn't make a lot of sense to give people TP based on if they were subbed the last few month's when F2P was announced and players that were subbed a few month's a year ago. Or the fact that SoA content is now locked, but if you bought the expansions those are unlocked. But as I said, I understand they had to draw a line somewhere as they have to make money of the new model. Just wish they would have had more common sense on what they decided, but I will still play and will buy into the premium membership since I am a casual player. The only other gripe is that when purchasing the quest packs you should be entitled to the features/quests in the area you buy, but somehow the Swift Travel is not included as a feature. *Sigh* oh well, Turbine has already stated they will tweak things and look into the swift travel issue. So we shall see how that goes.
