How many classes are there and how do they work?

Seeing as there is nobody who knows or have the same graphic problem in this game as me I have not been able to test it, and that sucks incredibly much since this game seems suited for me - and that I get no help from the developers. But I am wondering about the class system, and how many there are, if I understand correctly there are only 7 classes? I'm a big fan of many races and class, especially classes. I like diversity and 7 just doesn't cut it, far from it for me. Maybe there is a talent kind of system that makes every class not the same?

Could someone explain it to me quickly.

You can level up in any class, then mix and match any abilities you learned from the classes you level up.

  • That seems cool, but then again, after a year or so, "everyone" at max lvl will be able to fullfill every role because they are maxed out on every class? Seems the variety goes out the window. Hopefully I'm missing something

Another thing, I see they sell both a collectors edition and a limited collectors edition, any difference? Or just the same with different names for some reason?

Well there are some skills that can only be used on the main class your are playing.  Also skills taken from other classes diminish in power a bit.  So a warrior with healing spells wont do as good as a healer obviously.  Likewise as a healer with tank abilities

    Year won't be enough.

Most people will have their hands full with 2-3 classes. Having every class leveled is an exception, not the norm.

Using LOL is like saying "my argument sucks but I still want to disagree".

You have to distribute your stats and elemntal powers as well.

If you put all your stats into caster areas you will not be able to fulfill the role of a tank as well as a person that put their points into tank stats. Then there is gear you will need for each class and other things.

You will be able to play all roles after a year, but not as well in every class as others.

    GAME TIL YOU DIE!!!!

  • I think I understand it somewhat now thanks. I'm not sure if I like it to be honest. But if I only can get into the game and try it, I would be so happy, because it looks great.

Yup, you'd have to try it to figure out whether you like the class system or not. I was pretty apathetic at first but then I looked into it and decided that since there's the surplus thing might as well expand out. Then I played and became addicted to leveling up everything. It's kinda like pokemon, you need all of them in your party around the same level and you have to be ready for your legendary pokemon battles. Better prepared then left out in the cold with your pants down I say.

    Lame analogy but it works.

You wanted my time, so I played you. You wanted my money, I forked it over. You wanted my soul, I gave it willingly. Not to complain... but when do I get my end of the deal? And no, I don't want your flippin' carrot. If you can't do that give me back my youth and keep the change. Why don't you try chasing your own damn carrot for a change? I'll gladly hold the stick.
