Square launches new FFXIV website for character database, etc.

If you are part of the beta and plan to play the game, head on over to http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com and login with your square-enix account name and you can create biography for your characters, see their profiles and a few other things. Below is the official announcement for this:
- Official Launch of "FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone"
Before the launch of early access, which is scheduled for 18:00 (PDT) on Sep. 21, 2010, the official players' site "FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone" will become available. "The Lodestone" is scheduled to become available at 8:00 (PDT) on Sep. 21, 2010.
All the news, topics and version update details on FINAL FANTASY XIV will be posted on "The Lodestone."

* As of now, the players' site is only available to certain beta testers. However, it will become available to all users starting at 8:00 (PDT) on Sep. 21, 2010.

I was data gathering on that site the other day, good stuff.
You can search by job and by server and by name of course.
I searched by job on a lot of the servers and it seems leatherworker is the least played.
Seems weird.
Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
Not really liking it that much at the moment, as I can't direct link you my profile and share it with my friends.
